We needed to add another layer of detail to the environment. This included thinking about cluttering of vegetation as well as thinking of how the bulk of the structures could have another layer of detail to the surface of the architectural forms.

This was an early mood exploration of how it'd feel for a player to enter through the main entrance of the location. We wanted it to have this really epic establishing shot of the main play space and a very important location to the game's lore.

It's been a while but I'm finally getting through a lot of my work on Spellbreak and uploading it! it was a blast to work on this game. I worked a lot with the 3d environment artists on the team to help flesh out the design for Banehelm. It was a highlight for me working on Spellbreak. I miss it! wonderful setting and a wonderful game! Lots of wonderful memories of this project!
